My name is Chris Hitzemann, and I'm a Republican running for Monroe County State's Attorney.  I'm running for State's Attorney because I believe that victims deserve justice and Monroe County deserves a zero tolerance policy for those who manufacture, sell, or traffic drugs, or those who commit violent crimes.  These types of crimes reflect predatory behavior, and I will prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law to ensure the safety of our citizens and to deter others from committing these crimes.  

I'm also running for State's Attorney because of my family.  I want my children to grow up in a safe community with proactive law enforcement and a proactive State's Attorney fighting against drug dealers and rooting out violence.  As State's Attorney, I will build strong relationships with law enforcement and community leaders, and work with them to protect our citizens, schools, and businesses, and further improve the quality of life we enjoy so dearly.  It's time to send a message that we're going to support law enforcement and fight to keep our communities safe.  I will fight for you and ask for your support on November 8, 2016.
